PCS115-8 4" Poly Cone Woofer 8 Ohm

Engineered for small speaker systems and versatile audio designs, the PCS115-8 uses a polypropylene cone that provides excellent damping and environmental stability. The grey cone and inverted dustcap add a modern visual touch, making the driver suitable for projects where appearance matters just as much as performance. A rubber surround supports controlled excursion and helps maintain long-term reliability in demanding applications. The PCS115-8 is a direct replacement woofer for the Dayton Audio C40 center channel speaker, allowing quick and easy repair while maintaining the speaker’s original sound.

A large diameter flat spider keeps the moving assembly stable and centered, helping the driver maintain smooth, linear motion. The motor assembly features a ferrite magnet paired with a two-layer voice coil wound on an aluminum former, improving heat dissipation and maintaining consistent performance during extended listening sessions. Under-spider venting improves airflow around the voice coil, reducing heat buildup and compression.

With usable response from 60 Hz to 6 kHz and sensitivity of 82.4 dB, the PCS115-8 is well suited for compact two-way speakers, multi-driver systems, and custom audio designs where a small woofer is required.
